You don't have to feel like you are fighting this battle alone. There is an a national organization called SAN the SEMA Action Network that uses its $44.6 after-market economic clout to fight national legislation as well as alert states about proposed legislation harmful to our hobby. Within Massachusetts the Massachusetts Association of Auto Clubs (MAAC) www.massautoclubs.org is our local watchdog for proposed legislation on Beacon Hill that threatens our hobby. If you are not an active member of MAAC then I suggest you become one; it's cheap and they have a successful track record for getting legislation passed that helps our hobby interests as well as fighting harmful legislation that is bent on restricting it. .
