Let's be honest, every red blooded guy wants a girl that can work hard during that week and go fast on the weekend. The kind of girl that's just as comfortable racing as she is hanging with the guys. Sure, she can knock back a beer, maybe even better than you can, work harder than you can, but her loyalty leaves your favorite pet in the dust. Oh, and she's not afraid to get down and dirty.
Well, our boy Kyle knows what that's like. His 1988 Monte Carlo LS is all that and more. Sure, the paint's not perfect, but she's got hips to spair! A 4 barrel carb sits atop the 305 motor, meaning she sucks like no other and all in the right ways! To get the perfect stance, she's lowered in the front and raised in the back, but don't expect her to twerk anytime in the future and she has a big rear end and she's not that kinda lady! So keep your eyes peeled for this team rolling near you, and good luck keeping up. *Photos by Vinni Pereira Car Grumps #3 9/22/20 - On this episode of Car Grumps, VIPrimo and CaddiMatt talk about charity and car shows and how they can improve our car community as a whole! Charities over the years have become integral for our way of life and being able to give back is important to all of us.
Whether it be the upcoming Toys 4 Tots show or Heart Rodders raffling off a T Bucket, it’s a reality we can enjoy and share. Joanie Valois of the HeartRodders is our first guest. They are raffling off a Hot Rod for the Children’s Hospital. Jim Kalweit of Mission 22 Rally is our second guest and will talk about how they help veterans through exotic car track days. It’s a massive show that supports cars, community, and those in need! Don’t miss it! Looking for the car meet to end all car meets! Welcome to Broke East in Thompson CT. Fueled by a quiet year in cars, the automotive community was chomping at the bit and the Broke crew pulled through. It would be impossible to count the amount of cars that showed up, but it was wall to wall engines and paint. Add in a limbo contest for those low boys and a drift display presented by Lock City Drift and you have the recipe for a great show! Check out our coverage and share it with your friends because if they missed it they're about to regret that they did. If you can believe it, there is a lot going on, but even though it should be positive, it's not! What's happened is the new Z came out and it's getting a ton of flack. Why? Today we discuss that as well as discuss how the automotive sales world is doing and what it will mean down the road as well as a world record Skyline sale! Check it out! When I started, every show had trophies, but it seems that the longer time has gone on the less shows adapt to the trophy mindset and have moved over to the Meet and Greet style show with VIP areas for certain vehicles.
Today we ask the question, if car show trophies still a thing or have they gone completely out of style. We add a survey for people to vote and you won't believe the results. Follow this link to listen to the show! Click Here! Mike recommends never meeting your hero, but today Mike is going to do just that and gets a chance to test out his hero car and let's see how his review goes! Online Event! Tune into 990WBOB.com Tuesday @ 9 PM where the Grumps discuss if Trophies are still a thing at Car Shows and Meets, how they play into the overall scene to bring new people to the community, and do they still mean something to the community or are they old and outdated? We'll have two special guests for the show that will give their input and how their experience was with both trophies and not. One has no trophies and the other has the best trophies in New England! We'll also be asking YOU the viewer to give us input on what you think! So don't miss out! We go into round 2 of the build with the frame all set, wheels and tires intact and an engine on the floor, but the frame will need some love first before it can make it to the next level and by the end we'll have an actual chassis sitting pretty! Check it out! |
